This page from his Bible contains records of birth, marriage and deaths recorded by his wife Elizabeth (White). The Bible was passed down to his grandson David (1757-1839). The first entry was the marriage of Sam and Elizabeth in 1718, pre dating the town and the last being the death of Luther in 1824. Samuel Montague was a member of the ecclesiastical council held in Northampton in 1750 which resulted in the removal of Rev. Jonathan Edwards.
